APARTMENT EIGHT

Located in the inner-city suburb of New Farm, Apartment Eight is a complete refurbishment of a two-bedroom unit, originally built in 1969.

The aesthetic is deliberately urban and bold. The rustic nature of the expressed structural off-form concrete ceiling is offset with the crisp Carrara marble and black cabinetry. The French oak floors and soft furnishings add warmth and texture.

The living room & kitchen island bench are overly generous for the modest apartment. This was achieved by determining what is most valuable in a home of this size and prioritising those aspects over less important ones.
