ROSEWOOD

Situated on a steep and wide site at the bottom of a valley in Bardon, this project involved the addition of a separate second dwelling adjacent to an existing post-war house. The new home allows for discrete dual occupancy of a multi-generational family.

Privacy and transparency are carefully balanced, whilst passively controlling natural light and ventilation throughout.

Significant consideration was given to the distinct functional requirements of the clients – canine and human. The house is also home to an array of eccentric collectables and pastimes, each of which have been integrated into the design with great care.
